Welcome to Fairfield High School!
Congratulations on your promotion, Principal Ryan Bellamy!
The FCSD Board of Education approved a recommendation to promote Ryan Bellamy the new principal at Fairfield Senior High School. The action took place at the April 21 meeting. He replaces Dr. William Rice, who was promoted to Assistant Superintendent effective July 1.
Mr. Bellamy was one of the three assistant principals at the high school. He joined the high school team in 2019, having previously worked as an administrator, teacher, and coach in the Hamilton City Schools. He taught or performed administrative duties at the middle, freshman, and high school levels in Hamilton. He also worked in the elementary world in Forest Hills Local Schools as a 6th-grade math and science teacher.
Ryan's experiences as a leader and his work in areas related to student success will be a great fit for his new role at the high school.
